Mission Statement

Home With Heroes is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans, and, as a non-profit, we rely on support from generous individuals to keep running. Donating to us has been made quick, easy, and secure through the power of PayPal, the world's most secure digital transaction platform! You don’t even need an account to pay, we accept all major credit cards and debit cards. Home With Heroes is a 501c(3) organization and your donations are tax-deductible. Activities

• Retreats for those experiencing PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), especially veterans. Should you wish to sign up for a retreat or wish to help, get in touch through our contact page.
• Tournaments to raise funds for our programs and activities. (See upcoming events on homepage.)
• Honor Rides to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. (See upcoming events on homepage.)
• Boxing Days to help Operation G.R.I.T.S. (Gifts Raised in the South), a non-profit organization. (See upcoming events on homepage.)
• Visit-A-Vet Project for those veterans who need a friendly visit. To volunteer or learn more, get in touch through our contact page.
• Donations to Veterans Scholarships
• Collection of U.S. Flags to be retired
• World War II Veteran History Project (interviews with World War II veterans)
• Sponsorship of Patriotic Programs.
• Partnerships with other organizations helping veterans and their families. (See Partners page)
• Free clothing bank for veterans and their loved ones, and first responders (police, deputies, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians), located at 317 Sargeant S. Prentiss Drive (past Walmart). Open Thursdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon.
• Veterans Museum, open to the public, 317 Sargeant S. Prentiss Drive (past Walmart). Open Thursdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon. No charge.

Our Leadership

• Founder and President: G. Mark LaFrancis, President, Air Force Retiree (23 years), son of WWII veteran, and grandson of WWI veteran. LaFrancis has dedicated more than 30 years to helping veterans.
• Vice President: Tuwanna Williams, Army Veteran and WIOA Recruiter for Copiah-Lincoln Community College
• Board Chairman: Teresa Busby
• Board Vice Chairman: Lynn Bradford
• Treasurer: Marcia Thompson
• Board Member: Barbara Winkworth
• Board Member: Ben Tucker, Army veteran and member of the VFW.
